Hope There's Someone

This song is so deeply moving. I would recommend listening, if to a bit of it, on iTunes. The singer's voice exudes a sad ethereal lullaby.

"Hope There's Someone" by Antony and the Johnsons
Hope there's someone who'll take care of me
When I die
Will I go?

Hope there's someone who'll set my heart free
Nice to hold
When I'm tired

There's a ghost on the horizon
When I go to bed
How can I fall asleep at night
How will I rest my head

Oh I'm scared of the middle place
Between light and nowhere
I don't want to be the one
Left in there
Left in there

There's a man on the horizon
Wish that I'd go to bed
If I fall to his feet tonight
Will allow rest my head

So here's hoping I will not drown
Or paralyze in light
And godsend I don't want to go
To the seal's watershed

Hope there's someone who'll take care of me
When I die
Will I go

i first heard antonys OVER POWERING voice on the JOULS HOLLAND show, i always watch it because jouls always, without a doubt finds the most amazing talent.I had no words when antony & the johnson's finished performing 'hope there's someone' im an up & cuming R'n'B singer, who lives in the center of london, & is who is only just 18, i have never EVER heard a voice like his,i've been brought up around all types of music, & have learnt to exsept & appriciate all diffrent kinds of music, & its artists & musicians like anthony & the johnsons that make me feel like there's still SO much soul & feelings being put into music.I could see in his eyes & the way he played the piano that he does this truly for the love of music, & i will always respect & admire antony & the jonsons for that,if theres somthing that we lack in the music industry at the moment, its artists like them.
