I did my pre-car-shopping-shopping-trip today with Ryan. After much deliberation, we realized that it makes no sense at all to buy a used Subaru. They are only about 3k less than a new one. And not under a warranty! Duh!
So we're going back tomorrow with my dad (because I wanted to include him because it seems like something a dad does) and hopefully get the car. Here is a picture of the car (not the EXACT CAR) but the same year, model, and color.

are you that the loser in the pumpkin below also drives a used Subaru?
Duh!
Actually, I got a really good deal a few years ago on a low-mileage 97 Legacy. A good enough deal that it warranted foregoing the warranty.
Funny though, I was just telling my pal, Jim, on Monday that I'm not going to buy a used car again, for precisely that reason - no warranty.
Duh!
I've been very happy with the Legacy, and am glad you've decided against the Element. I might buy a Honda when I get the loot for my next car, but it won't be a bread box!
